Bill Provoznik


Dr. Bill Provaznik is a management professor at the Central Washington University College of Business, where he currently teaches strategic management, entrepreneurship and business courses. He is also the Director for the Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship located on the Central Washington University campus.

He has published research in strategic management and international business in numerous book chapters and peer reviewed research journals. His research interest is on the effects of CEO decision making on business performance. He has made conference presentations and published research articles on this topic as well as on various aspects of entrepreneurship and economic development across cultures.

His previous work experience includes positions as the president of an international OEM manufacturing firm, and as a licensed broker and member of a product development team at TD Ameritrade. Internationally he has been involved with analyst work for the Korean Consulate in Vietnam and has performed consulting and training for international firms including: Viet-Com Bank, Sanofi Pharma, McCann Erickson Vietnam, and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. Bill holds a BA degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and an MBA from the University of Nebraska with concentrations in international trade, marketing and securities analysis.

Lawrence Danton


Lawrence has owned and managed businesses in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors. He has 12 years military experience in both the US Army and Army National Guard as a non commissioned officer. In the private sector he has experience in manufacturing, performing arts and event planning, media production, NGOs, and other non-profits. He specializes in organization, time management, business start up and general management all with an eye to value maximization.

Lawrence currently teaches management and entrepreneurship at Central Washington University College of Business. His focus is on helping students learn life applicable skills especially those students looking to own their own business. He holds a degree from Lubbock Christian University and has also taught at both Treasure Valley Community College and Eastern Oregon University. Other than business he has taught technical theater and communication.

Lawrence has been married to dawn for nearly 25 years and has two college age children Sy and Stephanie.
